I really wasn't expecting to like Germany very much... The way it's depicted doesn't reflect any of the beauty of the country itself. A lot of people most likely have a hard time not connecting Germany with specific events from the past...
Besides that, the town we went to was called Rothenburg and it was the most perfect little town I've ever seen! It was so clean and toys and baked goods were in almost in every shop window. It reminded me of the classic Christmas movies shown on television every year. We went to a garden in Rothenburg that gave an amazing view of the land below it was so pretty and perfect. It's hard to even describe.

good to hear that you liked rothenburg, i have been there twice, since my grandma doesn't live as far from there. have you been anywhere else too?
ReplyDeleteWe didn't have too much time in Germany so besides Rothenburg we also went on a cruise on the Rhine river and saw Loralies rock and a bunch of hillside castles. and that's it. My sister though, said that Germany was one of her favorite countries of all the ones visited and she'd love going again.
